This is probably one of the first conversations I had with my camera after making Checking Out (but never leaving). When I decided to start documenting my transition:

A few months ago a friend of mine asked me to write my “coming out” story for his website. Took a while to figure out which coming out I should talk about. I came out first as a lesbian and then I came out as a man and finally I had to come out as “straight”. Here is what I wrote about my personal experience with being the only “hetero” in my queer hub here in Toronto.
